I certainly do enjoy a good HumbleBeads charm. Heather Powers‘ tiny spring nest stands on it’s own amongst all the pretty amber and aqua beads. I am not a huge fan of incorporating wire into jewelry projects but I think I do like the idea a lot more after creating this set. I added wire around the nest so it would stay center when worn. I also like the contrasting wire color against the silver hoop and decided to use the same technique on the bottom of the hoop. For the bracelet, I already had the blue and amber linked bead strands in my stashed and thought they matched enough to go along with the necklace. So overall, used beads, humblebeads, wire wrapping and contrasting metals – seemed to work out pretty well.
Perfect-o!
Dang. That is pretty! I love the pops of yellow with the soft turquoise. You have a knack girl! I love it! And I am a big fan of mixing metals. The wire is the perfect complement to this. It reminds me of twigs in a branch!
Enjoy the day.
